Story: Tribes

This painting depicts different tribes and totems. There’s tribes associated with the emu, the kangaroo, the carpet snake and sea turtle. Tribes have to look after and protect their totem and wouldn’t be allowed to the animal. For example the tribe who’s totem was the kangaroo couldn’t eat kangaroo, however the emu tribe could. The painting also shows the changing of the seasons, in certain seasons people would go out and gather animals when they're out in abundance.

Due to the delicate nature of these original paintings, each will be carefully packaged and shipped within 1 week.
